We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ayudante Electricista to join our team. This role is essential for supporting our electricians in various projects, including renovations and installations in both commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical work, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Duties
•
Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
•
Help renovate existing electrical systems according to project specifications.
•
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
•
Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
•
Support high voltage installations under the supervision of licensed electricians.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites.
•
Participate in the building of electrical panels and other components as needed.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
•
Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices.
•
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
•
Experience or willingness to learn about commercial and industrial electrical work.
•
Proficiency in blueprint reading to assist in project execution.
•
Ability to effectively use hand tools and electrical testing devices (voltmeter, ohmmeter).
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
