Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Technician with an aptitude for mechanics. As an integral part of the operations support team, the technician will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

•

Drain motor oil, change oil filter, wash windshield and adjust tire pressure

•

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, providing detailed reports on findings and repairs

•

Rectify issues and ensure proper functioning of vehicles/boats by adjusting, repairing or replacing parts.

•

Test and adjust engines, electronics, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.

•

Conduct routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids and lubricating parts to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.

•

Provide accurate and competitive estimates for repair or maintenance jobs, including cost, time and effort from suppliers.

•

Maintain equipment and tools in good condition to ensure they are always ready for use.

•

Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise technicians on good vehicle use to help them keep their vehicles in good condition.

•

Keep logs on work and issues to maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.

•

Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

•

Warehouse maintenance and vehicle swaps

•

Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to maintain their appearance.

•

Work will entail working on gas and diesel engines, including boats and yachts

•

Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Skills & Qualifications:

•

1 Year Experience

•

High School Diploma

•

Valid G Driver’s License

•

Required Mechanical background/experience

•

Strong attention to detail

•

Excellent problem solving and diagnostic ability
