AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with proficiency in various software tools. This role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to create detailed designs and schematics for construction and mechanical projects. The CAD Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to create detailed 2D and 3D designs.

- Develop schematics and mechanical designs that align with project requirements.

- Collaborate with project teams to understand design objectives and ensure accuracy in all drawings.

- Conduct revisions based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients.

- Prepare construction documents and assist in the drafting of project specifications.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all design work.

- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to design tasks.

- Maintain organized records of all design files and documentation.

Requirements

- Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and construction processes.

- Experience with drafting techniques and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.

- Familiarity with 2D animation is a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
