Utilities One is looking for experienced Auto Mechanics to inspect, service, and repair heavy equipment, including drilling machines, bucket trucks, and other large machinery, across Oregon and Washington markets.
Responsibilities:
•Perform on-site vehicle repairs, maintenance, and inspections to ensure operational efficiency of heavy-duty drilling and utility equipment;
•Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues for various vehicles in our fleet;
•Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, and fluid level checks;
•Inspect and repair engine systems, transmissions, exhausts, and other essential vehicle components;
•Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately assess and resolve mechanical problems;
•Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each vehicle;
•Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all repair and maintenance tasks;
•Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner
Requirements
• 2-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience with large machinery or commercial vehicles;
• Valid Driver's License;
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the region;
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions;
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
