Hours: Monday thru Saturday, 8am to 5pm (40 hour work week, with possible overtime)
Starting Pay: Based on experience, $15/hr minimum

Job Description:
The Auto Dismantler/Parts Puller is responsible for removing parts from salvaged vehicles, ensuring that parts are properly identified, organized, and prepared for sale to customers. The position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Identify and remove parts from salvaged vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
•Inspect and test parts to ensure they are in good working condition.
•Properly identify and label parts, ensuring that they are organized and stored appropriately.
•Maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of parts.
•Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
•Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
•Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Competencies:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous experience as an auto dismantler or parts puller preferred, but not required.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
•Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yards preferred.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
•Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
•Ability to work in various weather conditions.
