POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Individual must have 5 years of experience as a fully qualified Auto Body Mechanic. Education and training equivalent to graduation from high school or vocational school, supplemented by a one-year trade school course, is required. Individual must be qualified to hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Working hours for1st shift are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 pm-Midnight.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision, the individual performs various kinds of skilled and unskilled body work in connection with repair of automotive, off-road equipment, and associated components. Working knowledge of body work, refinishing, and fiber glass repair. First consideration will be given to individuals with contractual rights to the position.

Individuals must be able to perform work assignments at the Auto Body Mechanic level including emergency, 1st and 2nd shift, planned overtime when the need exists and acquire a basic knowledge of the Company Safety Manual. Have the mechanical ability to use hand/power tools, and body shop equipment. Have a working knowledge of the operation and construction of automotive, off-road equipment and associated components regarding body repair. Also working knowledge of fiberglass repair and recoating of fiberglass components.

Bargaining unit employees with contractual rights to this position will be given first consideration.

Compensation and Benefits:
