AES seeks an attorney with significant environmental and real estate experience for its U.S. Utilities Businesses located in Indiana and Ohio, and to support its other Generation businesses. These businesses are an important part of AES’ mission of accelerating the future of energy together, by improving lives and delivering exceptional service and value to customers and our shareholders and communities. The position reports to the U.S. Utilities General Counsel and provides counseling to the business on environmental compliance, real estate transactions and related matters and manages environmental litigation and administrative proceedings. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the internal legal efforts, including managing outside counsel and directly advising business units on these matters. Industry experience is preferred. Office location is in Indianapolis, IN or Dayton, OH.
