Responsible for the safe, proper and efficient operation and maintenance of the assigned solar plant. Position is responsible for the operating and monitoring of equipment and records operational data and reports any abnormalities. Perform minor maintenance task and assists higher level technicians in the operations and maintenance of the power plant. Overtime, shift work and travel may be required. Work is performed under supervision and direction from the maintenance manager.
- Performs other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintaining a power facility.
- Inspect and monitor equipment to detect malfunctions, need for repair, adjustment or lubrication.

- Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.
- Must be able to perform work independently and/or in work crews.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree; with one to three years of experience or related education of power plant operation/maintenance or equivalent education and experience.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical fundamentals of PV systems in power facilities.
- A valid California driver’s license is required.
- Salary Range: $28.51 - $40.24
