As an Assistant Terminal Manager, you will assist with management of all aspects of petroleum product movement from ship to storage to the customer. Your goal will be to support the Terminal Manager in overseeing daily operations, safety compliance, maintenance, and personnel management. Your success will be to play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and secure movement of petroleum products while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational integrity.

Your Responsibilities:* Assist with management of all aspects of petroleum movement from ship to storage to the customer
•Supervise and support terminal staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management
•Ensure safety compliance, environmental and regulatory compliance
•Maintain and build relationships with regulators
•Emergency response management including oversight of emergency response plans, drills and exercises
•Support Process Safety Management initiatives and policies
•Support budget planning, cost control, and operational efficiency initiatives
•Support the development and implementation of a capital plan for the Terminals to support the growth of the business
•Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply and sales teams to maintain efficient product flow
•Maintain and build relationships with our current customers
•Identify opportunities for improvements of equipment, processes, training, new technologies, etc.
•Support our maintenance management system (eAM) Oversee equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure operational reliability
•Ability and willingness to work all shifts with flexibility in schedule based on Operational needs
•Support marine security duties for a secure marine facility
Your Skills:* Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Able to adjust communication style to fit the needs of the audience
•Shows ability to work collaboratively to teach as well as learn from others
•Must show a strong respect for diversity and others' working, learning, and communications styles
•Working knowledge and awareness of jurisdictional acts and regulations Familiar with Inventory control systems
•Possess a strong safety-oriented background with ability to enhance/maintain safety programs
•Technical skills related to maintenance trades a plus
•Computer skills required
•Ability to complete routine and complex mathematical calculations
Your Experience:* Post-secondary education or equivalent with practical experience
•Secondary or Technical Education and associated petroleum operations training required
•Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively
•8-10 years of experience in Marine Terminal Operations would be an asset
•Experience in handling hazardous materials preferred
