Assistant Steam System Operator

Operate Miura boiler systems.

Maintain the boilers through routine maintenance.

Perform daily checks on all equipment associated with the boiler system.

Will be required to work with I&E and/or outside contractor (if needed) to assist in repair of the boiler systems.

Will be required to monitor daily boiler performance and log the findings in computer system for trending purposes.

Will be required to keep the boiler area clean and perform daily housekeeping duties throughout the steam system.

Will be required to maintain all tools used on the steam system and housed in the area. Will be required to monitor and maintain facility pumps throughout.

Pipefitting and/or millwright experience will be required.

Duties will also include working with Measurement Management to establish routine maintenance work orders to ensure onsite equipment is running a peak performance.

Will perform established maintenance work orders and use OQ operators to assist and train on facility equipment.

Will be required to keep up with ALL on-site oil for the facility pump/mixer equipment.

Will help establish and maintain mechanical materials on site. This will include an on-site vehicle to move tools and equipment as needed. Will be in a call-out rotation for any after-hours failures.
