Job Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and
finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This individual will help coordinate
and manage all aspects of project execution, including coordinating team members, and
ensuring the project’s objectives are met. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention
to detail, and the ability to travel between different project sites, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
•Help coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project
execution.
•Help develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and team
members.
•Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short
and long-term goals.
•Assist in managing the relationship with the client.
•Assist in traveling to the different projects in but not limited to Brevard ,Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, Orange, Pasco, Polk, Seminole, Sumter area
•Assist in ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
•Assist in performing risk management to minimize project risks.
•Assist in maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
•Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
•Provide administrative support and assist with team communications, meeting
scheduling, and documentation.
•Facilitate the resolution of project issues and problems by proactively identifying
potential risks and bottlenecks.
•Participate in team meetings and contribute to project decision-making.
•Assist and monitor project updates in Asana.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Construction
Management, is preferred but not required
•1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
•Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.
•Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar).
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
•The ability to work on weekends as needed
