Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects, with a focus on drywall and framing work. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with role.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Project Manager in coordinating day-to-day construction activities on drywall and framing scopes.
•Review and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
•Help prepare project schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other documentation.
•Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
•Monitor progress on-site to verify that work aligns with project plans and timelines.
•Assist in budget tracking, cost estimation, and project billing processes.
•Ensure quality control and safety standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
•Attend project meetings and document key discussions, decisions, and action items.
Qualifications:
•2–3 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with drywall and framing.
•Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field experience preferred.
•Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Buzzbid).
•Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
