Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in the coordination and development of mechanical design for Design-Build projects
•Support value-engineering and constructability reviews
•Contribute to life-cycle cost analyses (LCCA) under the supervision of senior team members
•Assist in construction contract administration including tracking RFIs, submittals, O&Ms, and REAs
•Help quantify materials and equipment requirements
•Prepare and process purchase requests and assist with purchase orders
•Coordinate vendor and subcontractor communications related to start-ups and commissioning
•Provide administrative and technical support to Project Coordinators and on-site personnel as needed
Minimum Requirements:
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
•1–3 years of experience in construction or mechanical coordination (project support experience preferred)
•Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
•Exposure to or familiarity with estimating/quantifying tools such as On-Center Takeoff, FastDUCT/FastPIPE, or similar software
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or in progress)
•Basic understanding of commissioning and balancing procedures
•Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical systems
•Exposure to instrumentation and controls systems
•Interest or experience in BIM and 3-D modeling software
Physical Demands:
•Able to use hands repetitively for grasping and reaching
•Capable of bending, walking, kneeling, and other physical tasks as needed
•Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
•Comfortable with extended periods of sitting with occasional standing
•Manual dexterity required for office equipment and basic mechanical tools
Work Environment:
•Primarily office-based with some field coordination
•Must be flexible with work hours to meet project deadlines
