What you'll do as a Assistant Mechanic/Yard Laborer Wash vehicles Maintain the yard Assist Sr Mechanic as needed Perform routine oil changes as needed Maintain service records and additional documentation as needed for DOT compliance Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery Work in congested or remote areas as service calls dictate Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License Working knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance Experience/working knowledge in auto, diesel, small engine, and heavy equipment repair Able to maintain a safe work environment Able to work in all weather conditions Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: Bend, lift, and twist and walk on uneven surfaces.
