Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in blueprint reading, residential & commercial construction. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to supervise teams effectively while ensuring that all projects adhere to safety standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

•

Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

•

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.

•

Manage contracts and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship.

•

Supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.

•

Utilize Buildertrend for accurate budgeting and cost estimation throughout the project lifecycle.

•

Implement construction estimating practices to forecast project needs effectively.

•

Use Buildertrend for scheduling and tracking project progress, adjusting timelines as necessary.

•

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

•

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as an Assistant Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.

•

Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, contract management, residential & commercial building processes.

•

Proficiency in Buildertrend software for budgeting and scheduling tasks.

•

Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.

•

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

•

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the project.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
