Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist experienced carpenters in various construction and remodeling tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively and some times individually, in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•
Assist in remodeling projects, including residential spaces.
•
Small drywall repairs and painting
•
Rot repair, decks and screen porches
•
Assist other associates as needed
•
Engage in frame carpentry activities, including constructing walls and structures.
•
Perform caulking duties to seal gaps and ensure weatherproofing.
•
Install hardware such as door locks, cabinet and other fixtures.
•
Execute heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
•
Assist with trim carpentry, installing moldings and finishing touches on projects.
•
Scope of work could include digging footings, installing vapor barrier under crawl spaces, install small sections of insulation and other like projects
Experience
•
Previous experience or knowledge in residential remodeling is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Familiarity with fixture installation techniques is advantageous.
•
Exposure to frame carpentry, caulking, tile laying, heavy lifting, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing will be considered an asset.
•
A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to carpentry and construction is essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
