As an Asset Integrity Specialist, you will ensure the integrity of the gathering and pipeline system against corrosion damage. The technical skills you have acquired are invaluable as you provide straightforward decisions. A focus on safety will bring success in this role!

For an Asset Integrity Specialist III


Responsibilities/Expectations:

Performs a variety of tasks involved in troubleshooting, testing, calibrating, maintaining, installing and/or repairing malfunctions of the equipment in areas of expertise
Supports external/internal corrosion control programs, ensures adequate monitoring and mitigations, and follows DOT requirements
Processes corrosion data, generates, analyzes and communicates monthly reports; works with business partners to resolve issues
Provides guidance and project scoping for corrosion control issues
Performs the data integration and analysis process relating to corrosion control testing
Evaluates performance of equipment and makes adjustments as necessary and performs pipeline integrity surveys
Provides company wide support and training, including standards and procedures development
Other duties as assigned


Education/Years of Experience:

Required: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of four (4) years related work experience
Preferred: Associates Degree in vocational, technical or business field


Physical and Environmental Work Requirements:

Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry and lift items that weigh a minimum of 50 lbs
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools


Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

Ability to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as needed
Ability to travel to troubleshoot and provide training as needed


Other Requirements:

Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the upmost priority
Must posses valid State Driver’s license with a good driving record
Solid understanding of corrosion control mitigation methodology and corrosion mechanisms
Basic knowledge of CFR Parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations.
Preferred: Extensive knowledge of CFR Parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations and good understanding of basic D/C electrical circuits
Ability to acquire NACE/AMPP CIP Level 1 Certification
Must possess NACE/AMPP Cathodic Protection Level I Certification (CP1)
Preferred: NACE/AMPP Cathodic Protection Level II Certification (CP2)
