Ritter Dirt and Asphalt is looking to hire asphalt paving laborer who will prep equipment, keep tools clean and organized, assist on various jobsites, order supplies and more.
If hired, you will help Ritter’s crew provide services to residential property owners, land developers and general contractors throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties.
This could be a great job for someone who likes to work outside and has experience in the asphalt paving industry. You will do well here if you work with integrity, have high standards and deliver exceptional customer service.

· Load trucks and gather tools for the day.
· Use picks, shovels and pneumatic tampers to dig ditches/trenches, backfill and compact.
· Run errands, order and pick up supplies.
· Follow instructions, including all safety procedures and protocols.
· One or more years of asphalt paving experience.
· Clean driving record and valid Washington State driver’s license.
· Must have reliable transportation and a cellphone.
· Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
· Able to pick up and move at least 50 pounds.
· Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
· Able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Shifts typically between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
· Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and overtime.
· Home every night with most weekends off.
