Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Apprentice Plumber will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, while learning to ensure all work is completed to code and meets safety regulations.
Duties
•Assist Journeyman Plumbers in the assembly and installation of plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
•Learn to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting related to the installation and repair of plumbing systems.
•Assist with construction plumbing tasks, learning to ensure installations comply with local codes.
•Learn to use hand tools and power tools effectively for plumbing tasks.
•Work collaboratively with Journeyman Plumbers and potentially other tradespeople.
•Learn pipe threading and other specialized plumbing techniques as needed.
•Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic plumbing issues.
•Help maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
•A strong interest in learning the plumbing trade.
•Ability to perform tasks that may involve physical labor and some heavy lifting.
•Basic understanding of hand tools is a plus.
•Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
•Valid driving license preferred.
•Must be able to pass a drug test and have a reasonable criminal background.
•Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Good communication skills.
