True Texas Solar & Roofing is seeking a motivated Solar Install Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in solar and electrical installation while working under the guidance of licensed electricians and solar professionals. You’ll play a key role in supporting solar panel and battery installations, learning the electrical trade, and building a strong foundation in renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar energy systems, batteries, generators, and related electrical equipment.

- Work under the supervision of licensed electricians to learn about electrical circuits, inverters, and service panels.

- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment during installations.

- Support reading and interpreting blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings for solar projects.

- Help run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical terminations as directed.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.

- Follow OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards.

- Participate in on-the-job training to grow your technical knowledge and solar installation skills.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience in solar, roofing, or electrical work is a plus, but not required.

- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.

- Basic understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn NEC code requirements.

- Comfort working on rooftops and in construction environments.

- Ability to read and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams.

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

- Commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour
