Applications Engineer ULT

Brief Description:

The Applications Engineer is responsible for supporting the technical sales and product innovation of PDC drill bits for the oil and gas industry. This role involves interacting directly with customers, performing detailed drilling application analysis, providing on-site support, and contributing to the development and optimization of products to ensure maximum drilling performance. The Field Sales Engineer serves as a critical link between customers, the sales team, and the engineering team.

Job Requirements:

Visual acuity and manual dexterity to handle tools and perform data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field.

Familiarity with industry software and tools for drilling data analysis.

Additional Details:

The Applications Engineer must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. The typical work environment will be in the shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
