Summary:
The Application Systems Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing the HeavyJob software system used in the field for construction project management. This role ensures that all systems are functioning optimally, supports all users, and drives system improvements that enhance productivity, accuracy, and efficiency in construction operations. While the primary focus is on HeavyJob, the position also supports other Development & Construction business applications, including but not limited to Procore and ArcGIS.
Requirements:•Oversee the day-to-day operation of the HeavyJob system and other Development and Construction applications, ensuring they are fully operational and available for all users.
•Manage system configurations, updates, and integrations with other software tools or systems used within the company.
•Work within the IT department and third-party vendors to promptly resolve any technical issues.
•Provide ongoing training and support to all users, including field teams, office personnel, and project managers, ensuring they are equipped to use the systems effectively.
•Troubleshoot user issues, providing timely solutions and escalating issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
•Attend work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
•Comply with the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
•Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
•Oversee data accuracy and integrity within the HeavyJob system and other Development and Construction business systems, ensuring data entered is correct and up to date.
•Conduct regular audits to verify system compliance with company standards, regulations, and best practices across all supported systems.
•Work with other departments (such as, Center of Excellence, Finance, and Project Teams) to ensure smooth data flow between the HeavyJob system, other business systems, and tools.
•Continuously assess system performance, making recommendations for improvements and new features based on user feedback for all supported systems.
•Document and communicate system updates, improvements, and changes to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, construction management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
•Certification in HeavyJob training or system-specific certifications required.
•3 or more years of systems management or IT support role, ideally within the construction or project management industry required.
•2 or more years of hands on experience with HeavyJob software or similar construction management tools is highly preferred.
•Certification in continuous improvement and/or lean methodology and practice preferred.
•Ability to travel domestically 5 to 15% required.
•Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
•Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process optimization.
•Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Ability to train, mentor, and provide support to users at all levels.
•Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Familiarity with construction workflows and project management practices.
Anticipated base salary range: $75,000 - $94,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
