Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Water Quality Compliance Planner, the Instrumentation Water Quality Technician independently performs testing and maintains equipment for all analyses associated with various instrumentation (Atomic Absorption (AA), ICP/MS, GC/MS, Total Organic Carbon (TOC) etc.). Performs and maintains associated quality control for all analyses associated with instrumentation (Atomic Absorption (AA), ICP/MS, GC/MS, Total Organic Carbon (TOC) etc.). Maintains Quality Assurance Plan Manual and laboratory quality control as it pertains to instrumentation. Collects test samples at the treatment plant and in the field as necessary. Prepares necessary sampling containers and reagents. Maintains laboratory records, reports and completes data entries. Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly work environment.
