EPCOR has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Analyst, SAP ISU Functional to join the Billing Applications Team. This is a full-time, permanent role working out of Edmonton, AB.
As an SAP ISU Functional Analyst, you bring a combination of business and technical skills to support EPCOR’s billing system. You will support day-to-day system operations including issue investigation, ticket resolution, and ad-hoc support. You will also work on enhancement projects where you will analyze business requirements, translate them into functional and technical designs, and support the configuration of SAP ISU. The Billing Applications team also support testing when needed for enhancements projects.
What you’d be responsible for
Requirement Gathering and Analysis* Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs, define business processes and requirements, and create functional and technical requirements
Functional Configuration* Configuration of SAP ISU modules based on business requirements to support business processes and operational needs
Troubleshooting and Issue Management* Investigation of business and technical issues, resolution of support tickets assigned.
•Attentive resolution of incidents and defects by priority
Documentation* Help maintain system documentation so all configuration and processes are clearly and concisely documented
Testing* Unit testing of configuration work, and assisting with Integrated System Testing when needed for larger initiatives and projects
Project Support
•Contribute to enhancement projects, bringing your expertise and experience with requirements, effort estimation, configuration, documentation, and testing
Ongoing Improvement* Bring improvement opportunities to the Billing Applications team for consideration, to drive continuous process improvement, and system performance
What’s required to be successful
•A four-year degree from a recognized educational institution in a relevant field (such as Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Technology Management, or a related discipline) or a two-year diplomain Computer Engineering/System Technology from a recognized post-secondary institute is required
•A minimum of 4 years of directly related experience with IS applications, business, functional, and/or systems analysis
+ Candidates possessing less than the required years of experience may be considered in a developmental opportunity position
•SAP ISU Module experience and expertise such as FICA, Billing, or CRM is strongly desired
•Development experience desired; ABAP nice-to-have
•Experience with large, complex, mission critical applications is desired
•System configuration and SDLC experience is desired
•Business process knowledge and experience in the utilities industry is desired
•Problem solver with strong communication and collaboration skills
•Strong work ethic with attention to detail, and willingness to learn
•Adaptability is required for work prioritization, and an emphasis on customer relationships leveraging interpersonal skills

Wage: IT2 starting at $53.05 per hour; developmental (IT1) starting at $48.58 per hour* Placement based on qualifications, credentials and experience; final wage and step will be determined at the time of selection and based on a combination of factors as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
Hours of work: 75 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday
