Alkylation and Crude Distillation Subject Matter Expert

PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Alkylation and Crude Distillation Subject Matter Expert to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ or at one of our refinery locations.

The role of the Alkylation and Crude Distillation Subject Matter Expert for PBF Energy is to provide overall technical guidance for the operation and maintenance of all units associated with Alkylation and Crude Distillation technologies.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

:

- Perform the role of Sponsor for the HF Alkylation, Sulfuric Alkylation, and Crude Distillation Best Practice Networks, and encourage knowledge sharing and interaction between sites through these networks

- Develop engineering standards and best practices associated with these technologies

- Engage in site troubleshooting and optimization

- Engage in incident investigations relevant to these technologies

- Support turnarounds and outages on units involving these technologies, including scope development and readiness reviews

- Act as the PBF representative on the API RP 751 committee and the AFPM HF Alkylation committee

- Coordinate health checks and site audits of the technologies, including the required RP 751 audits for the HF/MHF Alkylation units

- Support capital project development and implementation associated with these technologies

- Assist with site training on technologies for all relevant departments

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

- 15+ years of Refining experience in technical or operations roles

- Experience in the relevant technologies

- Expected travel 25-50%
