We are seeking an experienced Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Mechanical TFA III, who has achieved level III competencies, to oversee the management of site activities, including planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring resources such as labor, tools, and technical assistants, to fulfill the work scope according to contractual requirements. This role involves making decisions within defined parameters, applying concepts to complex issues, and resolving problems through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power generating facilities. The position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of Gas Turbines, specifically TM2500, LM2500, and LM6000 units. The Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Mechanical TFA III Engineer will report to the Plant Manager or the Team Leader in charge. Responsibilities include managing, performing, coordinating, and/or monitoring AD Gas Turbine (TM2500, LM2500, and LM6000) site activities; performing on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation and units’ demobilization; performing Borescope Inspection (BSI) for TM2500, LM2500, and LM6000 units; performing maintenance activities including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 maintenance; responding to emergency repair requests; providing technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives; performing administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, and time and expense sheets; driving customer satisfaction through commitment to quality; maintaining a strong safety mindset; troubleshooting and providing routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment vintage; coaching, mentoring and training other Field Engineers and team members; preparing timely and accurate technical reports; performing walk-downs during installation; performing aftermarket upgrades at the site level; working in rotation shifts including holidays, weekends and overtime; extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments; and other duties to support Prismecs vision and core values. Required skills include knowledge of Gas Turbines, Generators, Electric Motors & Pumps, Instruments, Servomechanisms, Actuators, Fire-Fighting systems, Machinery knowledge, experience and training on Alstom, Siemens or other OEM equipment, and pipe fitting and tubing experience. Qualifications include a Technical/University degree or qualifying experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Field Services role with TM2500, LM2500, and LM6000; proficiency in English, Spanish or French; 5+ years of experience in field services or power generation equipment maintenance; successful completion of required TFA II training programs; solid understanding of Gas Turbine Operation & Controlling Parameters; strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment; proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office; strong oral and written interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; extensive Field Engineering Services experience; strong organizational and project management skills; basic knowledge of HSE, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18001; and submission of CV/Resume in English.
