Join Our Dynamic Market Transformation Team

We are looking for an Advanced Energy Codes Technical Manager to join our growing Market Transformation department. This role will report to the Director of Market Transformation Technologies. The Market Transformation team is responsible for accelerating the development and adoption of emerging energy efficiency technologies, bringing efficiency and electrification technologies and practices more rapidly to scale.

The person in this role will manage the technical aspects of our Energy Codes Program, within the Market Transformation department. This team is working closely with the State on their goal to dramatically increase the energy efficiency of new buildings over the next 15 years, through changes to the state energy code and increases in code compliance. You would carry out and direct others in the technical aspects of this work including identifying new technologies and approaches to incorporate into the code, and research and analysis to evaluate these new technologies and approaches. For code compliance, you would also help develop educational resources and deliver training to key stakeholders with a focus on technical subject matter.

This position will also provide technical support to existing market transformation initiatives, as well as scanning and assessing emerging technologies for future market transformation programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building science, demonstrated experience in managing technical projects, and experience with energy efficiency in commercial buildings. Specific experience with energy codes is desired but not required.
