Job Summary
This position's primary duty is to provide support for the maintenance, monitoring, and security of our industrial control systems infrastructure. This position will assist in day-to-day operational tasks, system updates, and troubleshooting in a mission-critical environment that combines both IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems.
Duties/Responsibilities
•Perform basic troubleshooting of HMI and SCADA-related systems under guidance
•Help implement system updates, patches, and backups for ICS servers and workstations
•Maintain hardware and software inventory specific to the ICS environment
•Follow standard operating procedures for change control and incident response
•Document configurations, changes, and processes for compliance and audits
•Collaborate with OT and IT teams on infrastructure projects and improvements
•Install, update, and patch OT software and firmware to ensure systems run smoothly.
•Asist in managing MS Windows servers (DCS), including Database, Files, Applications, Printers, and DCS Workstations.
•Monitor the performance and health of OT systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
•Responsible for testing FLNG’s backups and performing routine restorations on FLNG’s MTS system.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of OT systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
•Assist in generating reports on system performance, security events, and system audits.
•Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for the procurement, support, and maintenance of OT equipment and software.
•Track and maintain vendor support licensing for operational technology group.
•Participate in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for OT systems.
Essential Functions
•Monitor the performance and health of OT systems, assist in identifying and resolving issues proactively using industrial cybersecurity tools and log analysis.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new OT systems with existing infrastructure.
•Provide support for OT systems, resolving technical issues with software, hardware.
Minimum Qualification/Work Experience
Minimum Education Required: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
Minimum Experience Required: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in operational technology, industrial control systems, or a similar field.
Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Information Technology, Industrial Automation, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience: Process Control System experience along with Windows Certifications including MTA, MCSA, VMWare Certifications including VCP-DCV, CompTIA Certifications including Network+, Security+, Linux+, Server+
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
•Must possess a working knowledge of virtualization infrastructure.
•Good written/verbal technical communication skill.
•Good analytical problem-solving skills, including root cause failure.
•Strong, troubleshooting/analytical skills
•High Level of attention to detail
•Basic understanding of network protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, VLANs)
•Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems
•Strong desire to learn about Microsoft domain model and TCP/IP
•Excellent communication and documentation skills
HSE Roles and Responsibilities
Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
Working Conditions and Physical Expectations
•Operates in a professional office environment within or outside of an industrial plant environment.
•Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and filing cabinets.
•The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
•This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.
•Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary.
•Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions.
•Ability to drive to other Company work locations as required.
•Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities.
Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC), or the ability to obtain before the first day of employment.
