B&D Landscaping is looking to hire an administrative assistant to be responsible for the general operation of our office.
•Computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google applications.
•Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar of B&D’s owner. Needs to possess critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask.
•Collate and distribute mail, including checks for Accounts Receivable.
•Human Resources support - managing employee records, assisting with job posts and interviews, handling communications between prospective employees and the office.
•Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence. Answers all phone calls to the office and handles email inquiries from the website.
•Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
•Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Posting on social media and updating the website. Once weekly posts on Facebook pages for marketing purposes, along with 1-3 posts per week on B&D’s Instagram and Facebook pages. Marketing skills/experience desired.
•Ability to effectively interact with customers.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality.
•Updating and reviewing customers' contracts.
•QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required.
•Keep track of office inventory and place orders through different vendors when necessary.
•Must be able to take initiative.
•Various other assignments as needed.

Pay Range $18.00 and up depending on experience
