Overview: We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our team. This individual will need to be a self-starter, that can work independently and communicate clearly with potential and current customers. This individual will work closely with several different companies to help determine their needs and provide solutions to them.
Identify and prospect potential new customers through cold calling, networking, and market research.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to retain business and increase sales volumes.
Conduct regular customer visits to understand their fuel needs, fuel consumption patterns, delivery requirements and provide product recommendations.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers to secure profitable deals.
Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and contract terms to optimize customer value and profitability.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing customer accounts to increase fuel volume sales.
Analyze customer data to identify potential up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for additional fuel products or services.
Present proposals and pricing options to customers, addressing their specific requirements
4-year degree preferred in a Business, Sales, or a related field
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the fuel industry
Strong understanding of the fuel market, pricing dynamics, and delivery logistics
Ability to build rapport with customers and establish long-term relationships
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory
