Canadian Energy Services, the drilling fluids division of CES Energy Solutions, is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized individual to fill the position of Accounting Assistant - Billings
. This full-time position is located in Calgary, Alberta and will be responsible for contributing to efficient financial accounting organization by compiling and providing timely, accurate information with respect to revenue, invoices, and job profitability. This position reports directly to Team Lead, Accounts Receivable & Inventory.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Generating high quality invoices, with corresponding supporting documentation.
- Reviewing customer invoices and uploading to Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Processing well files received from field at job completion and at month end for revenue accrual process.
- Match to open sales orders.
- Reconcile product deliveries, transfers and returns.
- Add additional billable services.
- Tracking of inventory movements between warehouses and field locations.
- Interaction with sales, operations, and field personnel regarding the resolution of all Billings issues.
- Provide back-up support for other members of the Billings team.
- Special Projects as required relating to Invoices, Collections, and customer support.
- Other duties as required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with multiple personalities in a demanding, fast paced environment.
- Experience with large ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Desire to work in a team focused environment.
