Accounting Analyst II

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles. The Accounting Clerk will support various financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

- Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.

- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.

- Support payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.

- Participate in budgeting activities and assist in monitoring budget performance.

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.

- Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Xero for efficient financial management.

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes within the finance department.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage and Xero.

- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes.

- Experience in auditing practices within the financial services sector is a plus.

- Solid understanding of payroll processing and bookkeeping techniques.

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
