If so then we might have the position you are seeking. Evolution Power Projects is a Fort St. John local company providing power equipment to oil/gas and construction projects. Our product line is broad and expanding rapidly with innovative technologies, to assist our customers in reaching their carbon emission reduction targets. You will be working alongside other members of the Finance Team.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating various accounting and administrative functions with the primary emphasis on accounts receivable, accounts payable and account reconciliations.
The candidate must possess high attention to detail, a good understanding of business practices and critical thinking skills born out of relevant experience. The candidate must also be personable and professional in their communications with vendors, service providers, customers, and staff. Strong communication skills both verbal and written, proficiency using accounting software and MS Office modules Word and Excel, in combination with the ability to meet set deadlines are essential. Other skills and attributes desired include someone who is process-driven, can take the initiative and can adapt to changing priorities. A good working knowledge of E-Invoicing software pertaining to oil and gas and previous experience in the industry will be recognized.
