About This Job

NOV is now hiring a dynamic Account Representative to join our team in Odessa, TX. The Account Representative will be responsible for the sales of ReedHycalog drill bit products.

Primary Responsibilities:

•

Visits offices of major customers and drilling contractors to promote the sales of products.

•

Informs customers of supply and price trends.

•

Keeps informed on new products and on general information of interest to customers.

•

Arranges delivery dates for customers.

•

Assists in training of new Salesmen.

•

Prepares sales reports, assist forecasts and special reports.

•

Promote sales of ReedHycalog drill bit products to assigned national accounts

•

Supports the Company sales efforts by calling on major customers

•

Performs other duties as assigned.

•

Work relief as needed.

•

Assist with on rig site supervision and account management of drill bits on high visibility runs (ex. new customer, new products, trial runs)

•

Makes collection calls as required.

•

Observe safety regulations, wear all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, correct obvious hazards immediately or reports them to supervisors.

Education and Qualifications:

•

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

•

Business related degree, including Marketing, Management, Business Admin, Economics, Finance, etc. is preferred.

•

Minimum 3 years oilfield sales and service with some administrative experience is preferred.

•

Expert in drill bits, downhole motors and bottom-hole assembly components

•

Strong knowledge of drilling applications

•

Bit Hydraulics

•

Bit Economics

•

This position will require some domestic travel

•

Clean driving license

•

Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to Management.

•

Adheres to all HSE requirements.

•

Working hours are as necessary
