Precision Landscaping is seeking an experienced Account Manager.
Summary: The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for clients and customers of Precision Landscape Management, communicating contract specifications to operations and working in conjunction with all relevant departments to ensure services are executed in a profitable manner. Account Managers are responsible for the follow-up and follow-through necessary to maintain positive customer relations, to ensure complete customer satisfaction and contract retention. Account Managers also serve Precision Landscape Management clients by presenting and selling non-contracted landscape management services to meet the needs of property, increase customer satisfaction and gain additional revenue for the company.
Responsibilities Include:
•The Account Manager position will be a year-round position that will require attention to detail and the ability to follow systems and plans with complete accuracy.
•The Account Manager will coordinate all aspects of maintenance contracts, overseeing them throughout the seasons ensuring crews are hitting deadlines and customer expectations are being met.
•The Account Manager will be responsible for communicating with customers and resolving issues through discussing solutions with various operations manager to ensure client satisfaction and ultimately contract renewal.
•The Account Manager must have the capability to discuss property maintenance needs and basic enhancement options with clients and input the data into Precision’s systems to determine an estimated cost.
•Upon the sale of additional work, the Account Manager must coordinate with the necessary operations managers on the project and ensure the quality and workmanship is always up to Precision’s standards.
•As part of maintaining relationships with customers, some evening appointments may be necessary for attending board meetings upon client’s request.
•During the winter season, the Account Manager will need to be available on both nights and weekends during snow and ice events for snow removal quality control.
•While office work such as recordkeeping and communicating with clients will be a typical day, this is a hands-on company where no one person spends 100% of their time in the office.
Qualifications:
•Basic contract knowledge
•Basic equipment knowledge
•Effective communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Ability to read and order materials from a contract
•Knowledge of commercial maintenance service offerings
•Basic equipment operation in trucks, loaders and tractors
•Basic knowledge of plant materials and ground cover and the proper usage
