Account Manager/Senior Accountant

- Gastonia, NC

- Monday – Thursday | 8:00AM – 5:00PM

- Friday | 8:00AM – 12:00PM (or later as needed)

- Includes 1 hour lunch break

- Starting at $80,000 and increases with experience

The accounting manager oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within an organization. This role typically involves managing a team ensuring accurate financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.

- Manage the budgeting process and financial forecasting.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets

- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

- Conduct audits and implement internal controls.

- Analyze financial data to support decision-making.

- Manage HR requirements as needed.

- Responsible for all IT requirements, including outside consultants currently used to support our requirements.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a master’s degree or CPA is often preferred.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, with prior management experience being advantageous.
