- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients.
- Participate in business development efforts to expand relationships and uncover new prospects (see note below regarding work hours).
- Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, safety personnel, etc.) to meet client objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and solutions based on client needs.
- Proactively communicate client feedback, requirements, and expectations to internal teams.
- Manage multiple client projects concurrently, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Forecast and monitor key account metrics, such as revenue, margin, and project timelines.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, agreements, and project progress- 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, or client services—preferably in industrial services, safety, or construction-related industries.
- Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and communicate them effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a client-first mindset.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- High attention to detail and time management.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Primarily office-based role with occasional site visits.
