The role of the 3rd Class Operator is to maintain adherence of established standards, practices and procedures.

Area of Focus:

Gas testing;

Issuing safe work permits;

Drafting operating and commissioning procedures as required;

Establishing systems and system acceptance criteria;

Participating in system walk downs and punch listing to ensure installation is per design and reflects piping and instrument diagrams;

Deficiency categorization;

Participating in the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in a safe and efficient manner;

Participating in start-up activities according to the implementation plans, schedules and budget.

Qualifications:

3rd Class Power Engineering certification or higher;

3 - 5 years experience;

Strong procedure writing skills required.
