We are currently looking for someone to join our Team to operate our Dishing Machines in our Tank Head department.
Please Note: This is a second shift position; however training will be on day shift M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with supervisor.
Will move to nights (M-F 3:30pm-Midnight), and receive a $1.50 per hour night shift differential once training is complete.

The machine operator position in the Tank Heads department operates multiple presses and machines to manipulate stainless blanks into tank heads. This position operates manual and automated machinery to create custom order tank heads.
· Operates manual and automated equipment. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
· Determine appropriate pressures to manipulate stainless blanks into custom order tank heads.
· Pushes buttons or depresses pedal to activate machine.
· Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
· Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
· Removes burrs or sharp edges from workpiece.
· Performs minor machine maintenance such as maintaining machines, dies or workpieces.
· Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department head.
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
· Operates any equipment needed to complete work order such as; forklift, overhead crane, etc.
· Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
· Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.
· Must be able to spot defects on work; close visual inspection required.
· Ability to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
· Recognize when to stop assembly and production when quality related issue(s) are present.
Certifications: Forklift training certificate or the ability to obtain it.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
