At Badgerland Industries the CNC Laser operators are responsible for operating CNC lasers. This job includes loading the laser with material, running the laser, unloading the laser, and organizing parts for the next process of manufacturing. Laser operators must be able to use basic hand and pneumatic tools, read blueprints, and operate a forklift. All employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Regular attendance is required
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks
- Load/unload material into machines, requires operating a forklift
- Read and understand blueprints for specifications such as material type and dimension of part
- Start machine and observe operation
- Read and apply measurements to parts for conformance to specifications
- Read and interpret job routings and paperwork
- Lift light and/or heavy parts
- Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment
- Assist co-workers with lifting parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years of steady work experience
- Experience working with basic hand tools and pneumatic tools
