We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Production Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

DMC Power is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment with responsibilities that include but are not limited to managing all aspects of the quality controlled production process, ensuring that departmental practices comply with company procedures, & achieving company goals. As production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products, to ensure that we maintain our commitment to quality and efficiency

Responsibilities:

- Manage the production process, including production schedule.

- Manage required resources – both personnel and raw materials

- Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to 2nd shift production staff

- Communicating with management, CSRs, Sales regarding problems or issues impacting production

- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.

- Set goals for each production area.

- Manage productivity of all 2nd shift production and assembly employees

- Ensure that production is cost effective.

- Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the production and assembly areas.

- Ensure that all production and assembly employees are properly trained in their work responsibilities.

- Promote a team environment throughout all areas of the operations.

- Promote Safety as a top priority in all areas.

- Responsible for managing & upkeeping of maintenance of production equipment

- Effectively communicate production schedule and other critical information to other departments

- Provide Lead times & status updates for rush & standard jobs

- Backup Production Manager in absence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
