This position is part of our Gas Compressor Engineering Rotation Program. The GCE Rotation Program provides the foundation for the future success of Solar Turbines engineers and of the organization. The purpose of the program is to start the development and training of the next generation of highly capable and highly competent engineers through a coordinated engineering rotation program.

Generally, the program consists of a two year rotation with multiple Three to Six-month Rotations in departments such as:
- Aerodynamics
- Rotordynamics
- Mechanical and Electrical Analysis
- Mechanical Design
- Manufacturing and Test
- Systems Analysis
- Product Management
At the end of the rotation program, long term assignments are given for placement in one of the Gas Compressor Engineering departments.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or other related Engineering discipline.
- Overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience, previous co-op or internship experience.
- Technical knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA
- High energy level and sense of urgency.
- Good business / technical judgment.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks.
- Problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.Base salary for this role ranges from $92,500, to $118,000. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:

This position requires working onsite five days a week.Relocation is available for this position.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
