Job Summary:

Kammerer Dynamics Inc. is seeking a skilled Hyd-Mech Saw and CNC Saw Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining Hyd-Mech band saws and CNC saws to cut raw materials to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in saw operation, machine maintenance, and reading blueprints or work instructions to ensure accurate cuts for production.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Operate Hyd-Mech saws and CNC saws to cut metal and other materials according to specifications.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job travelers to determine cutting dimensions and tolerances.

•

Set up and adjust saw settings for different material types and thicknesses.

•

Inspect cut materials for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

•

Perform routine maintenance on saws, including blade changes, lubrication, and troubleshooting minor issues.

•

Ensure proper material handling, storage, and organization in the cutting area.

•

Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

•

Work collaboratively with production teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

•

Previous experience operating Hyd-Mech saws, CNC saws, or similar cutting equipment.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

•

Strong attention to detail and ability to measure accurately using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

•

Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing minor machine maintenance.

•

Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

•

Understanding of workplace safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

•

Experience with CNC programming (preferred but not required).
