SUMMARY:
This position serves as the Senior Program Manager, Business Analysis, and reports to the Chief of Staff (COS). The position leads business projects and programs crucial to the Office of the CEO’s enduring culture. The role is essential in assisting the COS in meeting critical projects and programs of high importance. The role serves as a champion for change. The role also collaborates with the Executive to execute priority programs for the CEO.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable amounts of training are provided.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field from an accredited college or university; with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in enterprise project/program management including change management.
•A master’s degree is preferred and experience supporting executive development programs.
•Certification in change management by a globally accredited organization (e.g., Prosci) is required.
•Certification in the 360 tools and processes by a globally accredited organization (e.g., Center for Creative Leadership).
•Executive Development Certificate from a recognized provider.
•Event planning experience with large complex organizations.
•Strong ability to be adaptable and deal with ambiguous and sophisticated problems, and be constitutionally geared toward solving, doing, and learning.
•Possess strong analytical and financial abilities to work on sophisticated business issues; experience working on corporate fact base necessary.
•Possess strong financial analysis and modeling skills to explore strategic options, develop creative solutions to complex issues, and support decision-making.
•Skills and abilities involving impact partners and collaborators across functions and the enterprise.
•Strong strategic and logical thinking skills with a proven track record of successful execution of intended outcomes.
•Demonstrated experience and ability to connect program/project performance to broader organizational goals and grasp the key performance drivers of stakeholders.
•Effective verbal and written communication ability in both business and technical discussions with senior audiences; including Board of Director level presentation experience required.
•Must be an excellent communicator who can tailor a message to the appropriate level depending on the audience.
•Ability to deliver presentations to senior management leadership, executives, and stakeholders.
Ability to represent DC Water to relevant organizations inside and outside of the Authority.
