- Maintain communication with remote office personnel who assist with the new hire and rehire process
- Communicate and coordinate with prospective employees regarding the onboarding process including background
- Set up new hires in Dayforce
- Enter all Rehires in HR database
- Enter all Transfers in HR database
- Enter all Position changes in HR database
- Enter all Special Pay-rate changes in HR database
- Enter all Terminations and/or Layoffs and Leave of Absences in HR database and communicate with other departments as required such employee actions
- Enter Direct Deposits and/or stopping direct deposits in HR database
- Maintain and scan ALL paperwork into employee files
- Process and file Unemployment claims in a timely manner with the appropriate agency
- Process and file Child Support Employee Verifications in a timely manner with the appropriate agency
- Process and file General Employee Verifications in a timely manner with the appropriate business
- Mail payroll vouchers and paychecks
- Screen, print, process all incoming e-mails/e-faxes in a timely manner
- Manage daily telephone calls from employees, and employee verifications in a timely manner
- Correspond with rig managers, payroll department, drilling managers, area managers, recruiting when needed
- Maintain new-hire/rehire and termination spreadsheets
- Other duties & responsibilities may be assigned from time to time like reviewing spreadsheets from HR Manager; participating in Unemployment Appeal Hearings
