Are you friendly and approachable? Do you enjoy working independently while collaborating with others? We are hiring for a Receptionist/Staff Assistant for our Maryland office.
- Maintain professional disposition & appearance.
- Greet visitors entering the facility.
- Answer phones, screen and direct calls, taking/relaying messages.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.
- Provide general administrative/clerical support to all departments as necessary.
- Receive mail, sort and deliver to appropriate people for distribution.
- Organize conference rooms, meeting rooms, bookings and office events.
- Maintain Keyless Entry System.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment.
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
- Monitor and control supply inventory.
- Update clerical and administrative procedures for Reception position as necessary.
- Maintain Reception area for a professional appearance.
- Maintain Phone System.
- Assist Office Manager with event coordination and team building activities.
- Monitor/distribute emails accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in a receptionist or administrative role
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time.
