What You'll Do

- Sell generators, transfer switches, and preventive maintenance contracts

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers

- Provide quick, clear responses to inquiries by phone, email, or in person

- Prepare professional quotes and proposals tailored to each client

- Identify leads through territory visits, referrals, trade groups & networking

- Collaborate with the sales team and leadership to close deals

- Ensure a professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy presence at all times

- Log visits, track sales efforts, and manage follow-up communication

You’ll Thrive in This Role if You Have:

- Experience in generator or industrial/commercial equipment sales

- Strong mechanical knowledge (generators, transfer switches, specs, etc.)

- Self-starter who works independently and follows up effectively

- Strong written & verbal communication skills

- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email

- Organized, dependable, and driven to succeed

- Comfortable calling on people at all business levels
