About This Job

Job Summary

Blue Moon PV - Solar Project

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Planner to join the on-site team for the Blue Moon PV Solar Project, a 70 MWac utility-scale solar installation. The Project Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of all phases of construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

•

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet

•

Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to align timelines and deliverables

•

Track progress against milestones and provide weekly/monthly reports to leadership

•

Support permitting, procurement, and construction sequencing

•

Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and delays

•

Facilitate daily and weekly planning meetings on-site

•

Maintain documentation for compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements

•

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment

•

Assist with resource planning and logistics coordination

•

Support decommissioning and bonding documentation as required by the Kentucky Siting Board

Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

•

5+ years of experience in project planning/scheduling for utility-scale solar or energy infrastructure

•

Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)

•

Strong understanding of solar PV construction processes and timelines

•

Familiarity with Kentucky permitting and environmental regulations is a plus

•

Excellent communication and coordination skills

•

Ability to work independently and on-site in a rural project location

•

OSHA 30 certification preferred
