We are excited to announce two (2) new Supervisor opportunities as we transition from IBM Maximo to the Maximo Application Suite (MAS). These pivotal roles will help establish and lead two newly formed teams that are essential to shaping the future of our utility operations.
This posting covers both positions, each focused on building a high-performing team to support one of the following areas: Asset Management or Supply Chain (Procurement & Inventory Management). The selected candidate will lead a team of analysts and work cross-functionally to ensure a successful system implementation, maintain data integrity, and align operations across our electric, water, and gas utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and supervise a team of business analysts and technical staff supporting either Asset Management or Supply Chain functions
•Oversee the gathering, validation, and documentation of business and technical requirements for the Maximo to MAS upgrade
•Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with IT, Operations, GIS, and field teams to ensure MAS configurations align with business needs
•Direct data analysis and migration efforts, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation of asset, location, inventory, and procurement data
•Manage the design, configuration, and testing of MAS modules, including:
•- Asset Management: Work Management, Scheduler, Locations, Assets, and Spatial
•- Supply Chain: Inventory (items, tools, usage, receiving) and Procurement (procure-to-pay, sourcing, supplier punchouts, internal catalogs, EDI acknowledgements)
•Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management initiatives to drive successful adoption and user readiness
•Ensure the development and maintenance of documentation, including process flows, user guides, and configuration specifications
•Monitor system performance and readiness through KPIs, dashboards, and reports, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency
•Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies throughout the upgrade and operational lifecycle
•Provide strategic input into asset or supply chain management practices and system enhancements to support long-term utility goals
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
•10+ years of experience in business analysis, asset management, or supply chain (inventory management procurement), with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
•Proven experience with enterprise system upgrades or implementations, preferably in a utility environment
•Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo and/or MAS, including relevant modules
•Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL
•Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-departmental collaboration
Preferred Skills:
•Experience leading MAS implementation or upgrade projects
•Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS and integration with Maximo or MAS
•Familiarity with utility standards (e.g., ISO 55000, NERC, FERC) or Supply chain best practices
•Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
•Familiarity with the BABOK and ITIL frameworks
