Position: Manager, FERC/RTO Policy

Description:

As the Manager, FERC/RTO Policy, you will be at the helm of our transmission policy strategy, providing crucial recommendations to executives and senior management and various internal teams. Some examples of activities include:
•Represent the company in policy forums, including MISO stakeholder meetings and FERC proceedings, as the company's primary advocate. This is your chance to be at the forefront of our federal regulatory strategy!
•Collaborate with an array of internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on pivotal issues. Your role will be key in driving consensus and strategic direction.
•Be our expert on transmission tariffs and regulatory issues, offering critical guidance. Proactively identify, monitor, analyze, and communicate significant FERC/MISO initiatives, leading our adaptation to new policies.
Qualifications:

•This position is people-centric so excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills are incredibly valued.
•Proven success in managing multiple complex projects with challenging deadlines
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent industry experience.
•5+ years of relevant experience in the energy sector, with deep knowledge of MISO or similar RTOs.
•Expertise in transmission planning, cost allocation, system operations, and regulatory frameworks.
•Ability to travel as needed

+ The expected base compensation for this role is $121,000 - $153,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
